Cookie stuffing is basically “stuffing a cookie” onto a web browser’s computer through a script on a someone’s website, or your own website. Now you ask … how can I benefit from this? What’s the whole purpose in cookie stuffing? Why the hell am I even reading this?

The main reason why you are reading this, is because you want to make money. You want to learn how to make money on the internet and you want to know more about cookie stuffing. Is cookie stuffing illegal? No … it’s just unethical. It’s what we like to call ‘blackhat’.

Now before going into anymore detail on cookie stuffing, I want to let you know that this guide is to teach you the basics on cookie stuffing and only that. What you do with it is entirely up to you.

Yesterday I came across some stats about Twitter (from Nielsen) , that I might think would interest you:

– Twitter is the fastest growing community site on web
– Twitter experienced 1,382% growth in the 12 months to Feb 09
– The largest user group on Twitter is 35-49 year olds

But why is Twitter So Popular?

One of the reasons Twitter is so popular is that Twitter is so popular! In other words, so many people are using Twitter that it is rapidly becoming THE place to connect on the web.

In fact, mainstream media has started using Twitter- and talking about it. CNN and Fox News both discuss Twitter and use it as a way for viewers to offer input on various stories. In the recent Presidential election, President Obama’s campaign used Twitter as part of their massive campaign efforts – with obvious success!

Twitter’s popularity comes from its ease of use. It’s also quite addictive! Many people who questioned whether Twitter was worth the effort find they love the fast-paced interaction of the site. Twitter is all about immediate connections and real-time relationship building. Human beings are social animals who thrive on relationships and interaction with each other. Twitter provides immediate contact with others- no waiting for return emails or finding people on various Instant Messengers. You can jump on Twitter any time, day or night, and connect with someone immediately. Often, just taking five or ten minutes to tweet with others is all it really takes to build your followers, bring people to your website or break through a struggle.

Why Twitter Works for Marketers

Twitter works for marketers for a couple of reasons. The first, and most important one, is Twitter is different from a lot of marketing techniques. It really is all about making connections and creating relationships. Yes, it sounds impossible to believe that communicating in short little bursts can actually foster real relationships, but it’s true. Perhaps it’s because of the real-time interaction.

If you follow this method, it’s extremely hard to lose money and very easy to instantly start making profits within literally 24-72 hours of taking this information and applying it to your first campaign.

Most of the PPC marketers making big cash on Adwords right now are getting their traffic from the Google Content Network. Unlike search results that are targeted based on the specific searches, the Content Network delivers ads on pages that contain content relative to certain keywords.

While the search engine itself can deliver a lot of targeted traffic, the Content Network is where the BIG traffic is on Adwords. Fortunately for you, it also tends to be less expensive than the Search Network, but it only works very well in broad niches.

There are a few points that are characteristic for a broad niche:

1) High Search Volume

2) Tons of relevant Sites

3) Evidence of High Spending (= Super Affiliates)

To determine, if super affiliates are spending tons of money on the content network, simply inspect the ads on the Content Network or if you don’t want to do this research manually you can use a tool like Adwords Digger to sniff out content-oriented websites:

To launch a high-traffic content campaign you can do the following steps:

1) Step 1 – Identify a Suitable Niche

Good examples for broad niches are: Registry Cleaning, Dating, Ringtones, Making Money, MySpace, …

2) Step 2 – Take an Ad and Tweak it

Once you find the more popular ads circulating around the “content niche”, borrow the ad copy and tweak it to make it your own. Spotting a popular ad is fairly easy as it typically appears on all of the content sites for a particular niche.

Step 3 – Borrow Keywords

“Borrow” all of the keywords from the super affiliate you have identified.

Usually the super affiliates have spent a lot of time doing keyword research (thanks for that!) so a lot of the work is taken care of after you use KeywordSpy Pro to extract and export all their keywords.

Step 4 – Create Ad Groups

Take the exported keywords and put them into ad groups of around 40 keywords each (don’t do more than 50). Make sure that there are no more than 15-30 ad groups per campaign.

But don’t upload all the exported keywords into Adwords at once. Just take 2 adgroups with each 40 keywords in it to start with.

If those two are successful, then gradually add more to the mix. If you were to launch all your ad groups and the niche didn’t pay off, the losses could be staggering.
However, by testing to make sure it’s a profitable niche, you can hedge your losses and make a lot more money in the process.

Important Tip:

Let your content campaigns sit for 2-3 days after uploading so that Google has time to review them. Once Google reviews your campaigns, you will get a small surge of traffic (usually 50-100 clicks), but then your campaign will stop. Don’t freak out – this is the GoogleBot checking each of the keywords in your campaign. Once the GoogleBot is finished checking each keyword, your campaign will go live.
